Species: Pillow Spider
Name: Ròse Age: ??? Gender: Male Height: 13 cm Location: Aliud Floats, not very well but still does.
Often found in trees and bushes as a factor. Very withdrawn as a species. Moves fast in attempted escape if disturbed, typically. Lets off an aroma that is similar to roses when the cuticles are ruffled. This can be disarming or obscuring. Harmless generally, defenses typically tied to evasion. Can be trained to acclimate to interaction. Typically kept as pets by more experienced persons, the chance of escape or loss likely. Free roaming by nature. Hunts smaller invertebrates but can be fed a supply. Has relative intelligence, enough to recognise familiar persons. Can be described as crepuscular typically, more specifically matutinal. Typically sleeps on the side or stomach, the latter more frequent evidently to evade notice. |

Species: Glass Spider
Name: Vitreous Age: ??? Gender: Female Height: 11 cm Location: Aliud Ground level structures appear to be preferred locations, although higher latitudes are not uncommon.
Capable of spinning glass-like webs. These often refract scenes that do not correspond to the surroundings. Features compound eyes and can see a wide spectrum of colour. Displays problem solving intelligence and a relatively social disposition further. Has a comprehensive memory evidently. Many images may comprise recollection. The scenes which are depicted in the webbing may correspond to recalled scenery. This can be an accurate gauge of where an individual has travelled. Hunts smaller invertebrates but can be supplied a related source. Can be described as diurnal. Considerably swift. Hides away when retiring. May spin a nest or 'tent' for this purpose in compact spaces. |
